Brice Ferguson

for Council

Economic Diversification
Recognizing we could no longer be "the town that waits for business to come," Brice lobbied to establish an economic development program and hire an economic development officer. This was a first for the Town of Slave Lake.

Committed to representing tax payers, Brice prioritizes keeping tax increases well below inflation. In 2019 & 2021, Slave Lake experienced a 0% tax increase and an increase of only 1.5% in 2020.

A Strong Voice for Slave Lake
On October 18th, re-elect a lifetime resident of Slave Lake with a proven track record. Brice Ferguson is committed to hearing your concerns and building a better and stronger community together.

Downtown Revitalization
Dedicated to preserving Slave Lake's vibrancy and vitality, Brice served on the Downtown Revitalization Steering Committee. He successfully lobbied and supported the allocation of additional provincial grant funding to the renovation of Rennie Hall Plaza, kick-staring downtown revitalization.

Devonshire Beach
After extensively lobbying the province and Alberta Parks to increase maintenance, Devonshire Beach is now groomed and harrowed annually. Additional equipment has been acquired to increase maintenance and increased signage and wayfinding has been added throughout the area.  Bathroom stalls have also been replaced.

  • Continued lobbying for increased maintenance at Devonshire Beach
  • Work towards continued revitalization of downtown Slave Lake
  • Ensure taxation is kept in check and tax payers' dollars are respected
  • Continue to support economic diversification and work to further expand economic development
  • Work with local agencies and stakeholders to increase local tourism and large-scale community events.
